      Most fire stations have open days. Luckily my hubby is both an insider and an anorak so he knew one was coming up.

    He’s looking the part already, these open days are a great chance for the children to see the engines and houses up close.

      Yes they are a great free day out. Oscar met Fireman Jamie who showed him round and now he waves at every fire engine that goes past. The other day at the petrol station a fire engine pulled in to fill up and all the fire men waved at him. He has also “driven” a police car thanks to his daddy’s job.
